L'Equipe report that Neymar was stunned by the jeers he received in the 8-0 win over Dijon last week.
The Samba ace netted his fourth goal of the night from the spot on 83 minutes.
But if he'd handed the ball to Edinson Cavani it would have allowed the Uruguayan to go past Zlatan Ibrahimovic's record of 156 goals in all competitions.
Neymar is said to have been left reeling by the reaction of his home fans and the treatment he is getting from other players.

L'Equipe says that he is finding Ligue 1 too defensive and physical, compared to the Spanish top flight.
It is claimed he also complained at Barcelona about the rough treatment he was getting from opposing defences.

Neymar, 25, became the world's most-expensive signing when he joined for £198million on a four-year contract in August.
